Today, our school observed Good Friday, at the school premises. The program started with the morning assembly, followed by a speech by Ms. Khushi Jaiswal of Class VIII A. Then, the Principal and Headmaster inaugurated a display board prepared by the students of Class VIII A expressing their thoughts with quotes, articles, art, etc. The students of Class VIII A also performed a group song. Lastly, The Principal delivered a speech explaining the event's significance. National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28th February every year to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman in 1928. The day is dedicated to promoting scientific temperament and encouraging scientific activities nationwide. It is a day to commemorate the contributions of Indian scientists to the world of science. On occasion, our students of Class XII (Science) experimented with converting a Galvanometer into a voltmeter: Voltmeter is an instrument used to measure the potential difference between the two ends of a current-carrying conductor. A galvanometer can be converted into a voltmeter by connecting a high resistance in series. Today, on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, our students from class 6, 7, 8 and 9 had the opportunity to share his teachings and legacy with their fellow mates. They spoke about his emphasis on education, self-empowerment, and the unity of all religions. They also highlighted his message of serving humanity and the importance of living a spiritual life. It was truly inspiring to hear our students share their thoughts and reflections on the teachings of the great leader. Parent Teacher Meetings can nurture student learning. On that note, we organized our second PTM of the session from 17th October to 20th October 2022. As a part of our EVS curriculum, students of class 4 (A) were engaged in a fun-filled class activity where they worked in groups to make 3D models of different organ and organ systems of humans. Students used their creativity to make projects from the waste materials and they went to other sections and gave their presentation which helped them to build their confidence, speaking and creativity skills.
